A prototype mold is mainly used for product verification, sample testing, and low-volume trial production. Yes. We can support complex plastic parts with ribs, screw bosses, snap-fits, undercuts, side holes, threads, clips, sliders, lifters, inserts, and assembly structures. Our engineering team reviews the part design and mold feasibility before mold manufacturing.
Yes. Before mold design, we can provide DFM analysis to review wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, parting line, gate position, ejector layout, material selection, and molding risks. DFM helps reduce tooling problems and improve mass production stability.
Yes. For complex parts, large parts, thin-wall parts, transparent parts, or high-volume production projects, mold flow analysis can help evaluate filling balance, gate location, weld lines, air traps, shrinkage, and warpage risks before mold building.
Mold steel is selected based on plastic material, production volume, surface finish, part structure, mold life requirement, and cost target. Common mold steels can be selected for prototype molds, medium-volume production, high-volume production, transparent parts, or abrasive materials such as glass-filled plastics.
Yes. We can design and build multi-cavity injection molds to help improve production efficiency and reduce unit part cost for suitable high-volume projects. Multi-cavity molds require careful design of the runner system, cooling system, cavity balance, and dimensional consistency.
Yes. We can build insert molds for plastic parts combined with metal inserts, brass nuts, threaded inserts, pins, terminals, magnets, sleeves, or other pre-formed components. Insert mold design should consider accurate insert positioning, stable loading, and bonding around the insert.
